I recently wrote this letter to Vaughn and crew at Auto Japan: Well, once again, Auto Japan has definitely gone the extra mile (or ten miles!). Driving my Camry is an entirely different experience after the eradication of that annoying rattle in the front left wheel area. I really appreciate all the extra hours, blood, sweat and perhaps, tears, that were required to resolve the problem. It seemed that quite a challenging process of elimination was necessary to properly get to the root cause, testing the very mettle of the mechanics involved. I also appreciated the careful explanation of the solution process, with drawings, when I picked up the car. Now, the Camry feels and sounds like it drives like butter. I went to Auto Japan based on the Yelp reviews. I was immediately impressed when the first thing Vaughn did was take me out for a test drive (and I could tell he was busy). In the last 7 years the Hyundai dealership has only done that once (Petaluma Autoworld). We started to backup, he heard the squeal and new it was the break pads. We never left the parking space. I came in at 3PM and had all new pads and machined rotors and brake fluid by 6PM. And he changed a blown break light at no charge that I didn't even know was out. I fully expected to have to leave my car over the weekend, but he clearly stayed late to finish it all the same day. All for probably half the price the dealership would have charged and taken several days to complete. If I had known, I never would have taken my car to the dealership.

There were a couple of mix-ups on scheduling my appointment and emails sent. Overall I think everything at the shop is great.
